Garden sheds for hobbies
Do you enjoy having a hobby that needs a workshop - fishing, stamp collecting, art, producing a newsletter, framing, sewing? Even if you have the spare room, it means at times it gets messy. Even worse, things go missing, children fiddle around with your pieces and your place can look a sight. Also spreads out to the other rooms.
I’ve known sheds to be used for hobbies, where the person can lock up the shed and everything is safe until they are ready to do any more work.
Eleni used her shed as an artist’s studio and she kept her paints and art equipment there, safe from other people’s curiosity. The shelving saved room and kept things handy and tidy. She made outstanding works of art - Australian landscapes in oil paint and she managed to sell quite a few. The shed kept her art safe until the oils dried, which sometimes takes 3 days. Then when her exhibition was held, her artwork was transported from her shed and what wasn’t sold got stored in her workshop. Much more of a practical arrangement and in her backyard too.
Great idea, don’t you think?
