Greenhouse garden shed

Filed under: Sheds — Garden Shed Gal at 12:05 am on Saturday, September 30, 2006

A greenhouse shed can be used for your special plants. A greenhouse garden shed needs to have a solid design and to be made as a result of sturdy craftsmanship.

Look for one that is fully insulated and which is designed to let the sunshine in and keep the cold weather out, making it possible to grow plants throughout the whole year.  This is made possible with a shed made from structural UPVC.  UPVC is a UV protected proven outdoor plastic.

Even though a greenhouse shed is made of plastic, it is engineered for strength. Built to withstand high winds, such a greenhouse can be stronger than  many more expensive greenhouses with aluminium or wood frames.

Suss it out and you will find out what I found out. This can be a great greenhouse for your special plants.

Aviaries

Your birds are important to you and your family. It is great to show them off to visitors too. More importantly though is their care which can be more expensive if you don’t have appropriate accommodation for them. Aviaries come in different sizes and can be zinc or coloured. Aviaries are light and you can install your own aviary or have it installed for you. Make sure it is situated in a position in your garden where there is a good mix of light and shade.

I used to have a cockatoo called Cockie, and I had his aviary near the side of the cliff in my small backyard. I chose that spot because there was sunshine in the morning and shade later on, it is good to keep that in mind for avaries. The aviary was also close enough to our patio which had the glass lounge doors opening out there, so he was able to see us when we were home. He would call out my name loudly until I acknowledged him.

Cubby House Shed

Filed under: Sheds — Garden Shed Gal at 11:49 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2006

There are many uses for a home and garden storage shed. Some very practical such as for storing equipment (lawnmower and garden tools) or using the shed for a workshop. But there are also other more creative methods.

One such creative method is that used by a friend of mine who always wanted a cubby house as a child but her parents did not feel they could afford to have one built for her. So when her children begged to have a cubby house she had the brilliant idea of getting a small garden shed. She had it installed in the shade by the side of the house. Not a big garden shed but one that was just the right size and price for them. She personally tested it by sitting inside doing her paperwork while the children played with their toys. The garden shed was comfortable and cosy. The children were happy and she was pleased to have made a dream come true for them.

There are many uses for a home and garden storage shed and a cubby house shed is one of them.

Garden Sheds for good parenting

Filed under: Sheds — Sam the Storage Man at 9:46 am on Monday, September 18, 2006

While browsing a parenting forum I came across the following post by stoosh95 on sound and sage advice for new parents:

Baby wipes … you just can’t have enough of them … buy about 3 pallets worth and store them in the garage or shed … when ur down to 1 pallet, get 2 more.

Now we all know garages are for cars, but who knew your new garden shed would produce happy well-adjusted babies?

Higher quality garden sheds

Filed under: Sheds — Garden Shed Gal at 8:23 pm on Monday, September 11, 2006

Because every Treco shed consists of wrap around corners, your home and garden storage shed is protected from high winds and it also prevents leaks.

So your home and garden storage shed is not only good for equipment like the lawnmower but also it is safe and dry for storing your things.

Because of the choice in colours and sizes the garden shed is attractive for your backyard. You can also use the garden shed as a workshop.

So your shed has many uses especially because of the full structural frame including a mid-wall frame for added strength.  And then there’s the shelving bonus in your garden shed.

The Treco shed range is of higher quality than any other shed on the market. So go see their range of home and garden storage sheds at Treco

Backyard garden shed

Filed under: Sheds — Garden Shed Gal at 9:26 pm on Friday, September 8, 2006

You have a backyard that has taken a lot of work to get looking good. Or maybe you have plans to do so. And you need a home and garden storage shed.

The garage is not a home and garden storage shed and is looking cluttered with the garden equipment, especially the lawnmower. But you don’t want to have to break the handles when you put it away either. You’ve also stored stuff in your garage. That’s just as bad as not having a garage.

You’ve heard about the home and garden storage sheds that do the job and more. Well let me tell you how easy it is to get the right one. But don’t be fooled by inferior sheds on the market.

First you need to choose the size and colour you want. Yes the colour is important too.

Then make sure your garden shed is a screw together design for maximum strength because it’s got permanent fastening. The home and garden shed should also have no pot rivets or clips.

The Sheds Plus design allows for replacement of panels any time in case of damage to your home and garden shed.

Remember too that you can DIY your garden shed or Treco or any of it’s dealers will install your garden shed for you.

Not only is a garden shed ideal for keeping your equipment, such as lawnmowers, protected and safe but Treco garden sheds also come in different colours and great shapes and sizes. A garden shed makes your backyard attractive. This reflects your ability to organise your life well and keeps you motivated to maintain your home and garden as a haven.

Let’s face it, you really can’t get away with expecting your family to “pull their weight” and keep the place in order without you setting an example too. Sheds Plus has a good range of Treco sheds that can help you do that easily.

There are garden sheds that can fit along the side of your house or anywhere in the back where it suits you, for whatever purpose. Especially important is that you can have the garden shed size of your choice and in attractive colours to choose from. Also important is that these garden sheds are weatherproof, moreso than other garden sheds on the market.

What’s more not only will they install the garden shed but any of their dealers will also install your shed.

DIY Garden Sheds

Filed under: Sheds — Garden Shed Gal at 5:03 pm on Friday, September 1, 2006

Sheds Plus sell a good range of Treco sheds that are perfect for DIY. Though sometimes even when you are capable of DIY you may not have the time, so Sheds Plus has a professional installation service. You just choose what colour and size you want and then the rest is easy.

A weatherproof garden shed will be installed where you want and then you can use it for equipment storage and or the garden shed can be your workshop to keep tools organised. Also this way the garden shed locks up so people don’t go messing up your area.

One guy not only used the garden shed for equipment and tools but also storage for his memorabilia (fishing gear).

Best of all, it was his personal shed and he had a small portable colour TV and a stool where he sat on Saturday afternoons creating custom made fishing rods while the sport was on. What was amazing was that he could also fit in a little snooze sitting on his stool while he was waiting for the fibreglass on the fishing rods to dry. This took place rain or shine, winter or summer making him a calm, contented person.

Home and garden sheds have many uses. Check it out…Oldfields Treco
